Welcome to Kokum's House Recovery Home
Kokums House Recovery Home is a post-treatment sober living residence that provides a supportive and culturally sensitive environment for men transitioning from rehabilitation back into the community. Our program focuses on helping both Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents maintain sobriety, build structure, and develop the skills they need to achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
We empower individuals to become employment-ready, self-sufficient, and confidently connected to their community—one step at a time.

In 2024, Zane Thain participated in the first annual Walk 4 Wellbriety, a community-led event grounded in Indigenous values of healing, connection, and sobriety. The walk represents more than just physical movement—it’s a spiritual journey that honors those we've lost, celebrates those in recovery, and brings awareness to the ongoing need for culturally grounded healing.
As the manager of Kokums House, Zane continues to lead by example. His involvement in the Walk reflects his commitment to recovery, cultural wellness, and helping others walk their own path with dignity, purpose, and support.
